These Swamp kauri desk lamps filter light through tens of thousand year old kauri gum displayed on a equally old swamp kauri base available with plaque, or small Paua shell embellishment

Each piece is crafted from ancient swamp kauri timber & amber remnants from multiple forests that once stood in layers over tens of thousands of years. Some logs date back as far as 57,000 years, each carrying the story of a different age of New Zealand’s natural history. Violently sunken by ancient tsunamis and preserved deep in the earth, these timbers are unearthed with care, cleaned, cut, and kiln-dried before being sealed in epoxy resin. Every piece is completely unique — a preserved fragment of time, continuing its journey through the ages.
