Returns Policy

At GumLamps, we strive to provide the highest quality products and excellent customer service. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. If you have selected a courier option with insurance, please contact us within 3 days of arrival if there are any issues with the item.

Exclusions

Please note that our returns policy does not cover the following:

  • Change of mind: We do not accept returns or exchanges for items purchased on a whim or due to buyer’s remorse.
  • Breakages or damage during shipping: If you choose to receive your product via post or courier, we will not be responsible for any breakages or damage caused during transit. This includes, but is not limited to, scratches, dents, cracks, and other forms of cosmetic damage.

Returns Procedure

If you need to return an item, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer service team via email at cam@gumlamps.nz to request a return authorization number (RAN). Please provide your order number, reason for return, and any relevant photos or documentation.
  2. Once we have approved your return, please ship the item back to us at your own expense. We recommend using a tracked shipping method to ensure delivery.
  3. Upon receiving the returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our quality standards. If everything checks out, we will process a refund or exchange within 28 days.

Important

Please note that all returns must be made in their original condition with all packaging and tags included. We reserve the right to refuse any return if the item is not returned in its original condition.

Shipping Risks

By choosing to receive your product via post or courier, you acknowledge that we will not be responsible for any breakages or damage caused during shipping. This includes, but is not limited to, scratches, dents, cracks, and other forms of cosmetic damage.

Refund Process

Once we have processed a return, we will refund the purchase price minus any applicable shipping costs within 28 days. Refunds will be issued in the original payment method, minus any fees associated with processing a credit card transaction.

Warranty

All products sold by GumLamps come with a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty. If you have any issues with your product, please contact our customer service team for assistance.
